The IBF's International Tournaments And Points & Prize Distribution On My Viewpoint
The "World Team Qualification" Competitions in every continent should be regarded as Continental Team Competition respectively.
The "World Team" Competitions include T&UC in even year and SC in odd year.
The "World Individual Qualification" Competitions in every continent should be regarded as Continental Individual Competition respectively.
The "World Individual" Competitions include "World Cup/Olympics" in even year and World Championships in odd year.
The "World Finals Qualification" Competitions in every continent should be regarded as Continental Finals Competition respectively.
The "World Finals" Competition should be held every year.
There will be five countries holding their Open Tournaments respectively in Every continent every year. And if there are no more than five countries to hold their Open Tournaments in a certain continent in one year, there will be other country/countries in other continent(s) to hold these Open Tournament(s).
All competitions must include two parts, namely, Adult tournaments (in even week) and Junior (U19) ones (in odd week) and Senior (either in even or in odd week) will be welcome to be included.
As for the entry number, Open Tournaments should be not limited in every event, and World Championships (Qualification) should be no more than 64 players/pairs and every association should have no more than 4 players/pairs in every event, And World/Olympics (Qualification) should be no more than 28 players/pairs and every association should have no more than 2 (current 3 players/pairs) players/pairs in every event, and World Finals (Qualification) should be no more than 8 players/pairs (only accorging to relevant world ranking in spite of association-ship ) in every event. All players/pairs qualified for World Championships or World Cup/Olympics or World Finals must be 1) top 32 or top 16 or top 8 in relevant Qualification in relevant continent firstly and 2) top players/pairs in relevant world ranking secondly.
All the "IBF events" should be no prize.
The Oceania Badminton Confederation (OBC) should be merged into Asian Badminton Confederation (ABC) in order to advance the Badminton level of those associations in the OBC by continual intercommunion with the ABC's Badminton Powers such as China, Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia etc. in world and continental tournaments.
This topic doesn't include continental circuits.

If the total prize of an Open Championships is US$300,000, this tournament should be regarded as a 7* tournament as much as the IBF's Individual Tournaments (Worlds, World Cup/Olympics, World Finals).
In every event, All top 16 should be given prize according to the class of tournament.
Mani Draw, in every event, should be 32 players/pairs (A, B Class and 1* tournament), or 64 players/pairs (2*-7*)

Xu, please correct me if i am wrong. if more ppl get price money, wouldn't that decrease the incentive for player to play to win? if i get some money for being number 8, may be that's "good enough" and go home.

With a minimum prize money for an appearance at an important world tournament, it may at least be an incentive for players to maintain a certain ranking. However, such an "appearance fee" should not be too 'comfortable', otherwise it will attract the wrong players.
For example, the fee should perhaps be enough to pay for 50% of transport, food and lodging so that the player knows in advance that he has to put up a good performance lest he has to pay the other half of the bill out of his own pocket if he has no sponsor.
Many players do not earn a fantastic income as a pro if they are not in the top ranks and such prize monies may be just the carrot to help them get by and try harder.

The current Points & Prize Distribution
It's only MS getting prize in "top 16" and the others getting prize just in "top 8" .
