I'm looking at two new rackets, the Yonex Nano Speed 8000 AS or theArmortec-800 DEF. I already own a Yonex MP 30.

Which racket would suit my game best? I'm not an overly powerful smash player, but I do smash cross court and fast slice from the back of the court.

Would the Armortec-800 DEF be better for net play than the 8000?

    Thanks in advance!!

IMO, NS9000S is way better than NS8000 and AT800DE.
I've played all of them for a period.
NS8000 and AT800DE have the same level of performance, both quick + OK power + good control.

However, IMO, NS9000S is way better than these 2 in every aspect.

Hi robc06, i tink its quite subjective for each individual due to own preferences.... actually maybe u can get hold of one from yr friends to try it out to know which one u like. For foo.tw, he prefers NS9K S over the two.......:) For me, i tink AT800De offers more control and power than the NS9K S..... Never try NS8K...so cannot compare it. :p

Not in Tassie I dont think, only one player I know of Rowan Henderson has a NS8000, and thats cause hes sponsered by Yonex.

Cheaper to buy rackets and gear from the mainland than the STBA shop.
