Anyone planning to watch the tourney? I'm 90% sure that i will be attending. Hope to see some of you guys there.
Hi ants, you are refering to the AVIVA open right? Can I check with you if you know which famous players are joining this tourney?
Currently i don't have any info on who will be playing. I don't have the complete lineups yet for the countries. Everything will be finalised i think in few weeks time. For what i know respective countries have submitted their players details.. which at the moment i don't have any access to. I will post it once i find out. See you guys there..
Sure, Poseidon hopes to be second time lucky and you're hoping that Lady Luck will smile at you too! I've already got my heavily discounted "early bird" season ticket and also for my friends. S$10 for the entire tournament and $15 for my young friends! This is very hard to beat, I can tell you. You'll never be able to obtain this special offer in Philippines, HK, Melbourne and even Malaysia, I think.
Wishing you guys the best and have fun.. Sigh...I was there last yr, first time visited the S'pore Indoor Stadium, and attended the QF and SF rounds. It was actually the first time i saw "live badminton action" after soooo many yrs...Actually I was planning to go this yr for my vacation, actually to go to Indo also late this month(and see some actions in the IO) and finish up my trip in S'pore, but one thing led to another and looks like i will miss it this year...sigh, bummer.. Anyways, wish all you guys lots of fun in about 3 weeks time...and don't forget to take lots and lots of pics and if you guys do a get-together to also take some pics to share with us..
Hi Loh, that's very cheap tickets you got there. Now I know who to look for if I decided to come to watch the Singapore Open in the future. So, do you have any good contacts to get cheap tickets for our planned Beijing 2008?
heard news that lindan wont be coming for SO. Only BCL & CJ. Loh, even my contact in SBA cant get the price too, gee who do u rub shoulder with?
Well, Kevin, I would not hesitate to seek out our lady from Beijing, Kemana, with whom I'm sure you're quite familiar . As Kim and other BC members are interested in the Beijing Olympics 2008, Kemana has given me a good lead to contact her friend for advice, which I will followup later. I was toying with the idea of getting an apartment, perhaps near to the badminton venue, to house all BC members (including Kwun, Kokcheng, our Malaysian friend from Kedah and many others if they can come) in Beijing, a time and place to really get all of us birdie fanatics around from all parts of the world. Wouldn't that be fun? Can all of you make a commitment to join us. Save up both the money and the leave time to congregate at Beijing 2008! Mark your calendar
