Place to play. I play at 1) Chong Pang CC Tuesday 7.30pm. Intermediate and advance players. 6sgd. 2) PUB club on wednesday 8pm 6sgd. Advance players only. 3) Singapore Power Club Friday 8pm 6sgd. Intermediate and Advance. or 4) Woodlands Friday 8pm 6sgd. Advance players only. 5) Saturday SIA Club at upper changi road east. entrance 4.50sgd + 5sgd, intermediate players 6) Boon Lay CC Sunday 3pm 120sgd per year advance players only. I stopped playing at Keppel Club many many months ago. The court flooring are too darn hard and the place super hot! Sigh! Its pretty sad that after more than 200 hits, we only have 3 people excluding myself who are willing to let others know where and when we usually play. Looks like Singaporeans are really shy when it comes to this kind of things.

Mongoose, I was actually typing a reply the next day I read your thread but then deleted it. My concern was I was not the organiser of the 2 regular sessions I was attending - and I thought it may not be appropriate for me to list them and then getting request to join that I am not in position to reply. Perhaps I am worrying too much!
Venues of play Hi Linus, U may not be the person who organise the sessions but personally I think it is ok to highlight yr venues of play. Even if anyone wanted to join, he or she has to ask permission b4 going there. U have the right to decline any suggestion. Who know, we have groups who may wish to have friendly matches with yrs..... By not disclosing, u have lost an opportunity to make more friends and have good competitions. Anyway, we respect yr choice. Lee
yoh! i guess i'm kinda swaku and unaware of such games/clubs that exist, just when i was thinking about where the badminton clubs are in singapore. would love to join but am working overseas at the moment but will definitely look you guys up when i'm back for holidays. btw i stay in the NE region, so i presume IMH = institute of mental health @ buangkok right? cheers
Joshww81, I was away from singapore for 9 years and when I returned in January this year I was just as lost as you - dont know where to play badminton and find "kaki". Luckily I chanced upon this wonderful forum - lo and behold, here I am playing with many other BC members! So no worry mate!
Its been a long time since I log in. I play at: Tuesday: Kembangan CC Thursday: Tampines North CC Sunday: Rivervale Primary School Anyone keen on friendly match with my group can be arranged on Sunday at the school. But that will be from July onwards as the school is closed for exam and holiday till end June.
kelvin is that you? I'm interested in a friendly game, perhaps 1 away and 1 home? Since you cant play on june, why not have a friendly on 1 of the sunday on june after aviva as some of our members are involve in aviva. How many players on your side? x5 MD + 1 XD?
Hi Mike, Yes its me. Its been a long time hows things? You mean your members are playing in Aviva Open? Then we can't match the standard liao haha. We have 5MD + 1XD no prob. Playing in IMH? Our school side probably resume on 1 Jul.
