I have been totally inundated with (just 2) private messages requesting more training vids.

This is a video aimed at beginners although it covers singles/doubles strategy near the end of the second disc (CD2-c.mpg). It has very good slow-motion replays making it good teaching material esp for kids. More advanced players may find the Xiong Guo Bao vids to be more appropriate. For those who are concerned, the instructor (Xiao1 Jie2), does not speak with a thick southern accent.

    Once again borrowing BJ's description:
Xiao Jie won several of championships before, including Netherlands Open and Belgium Open...etc. She points out very many common mistakes that people tend to make without knowing. Also, She would tell what makes you miss the shot. She talks about singles, doubles, mixed doubles, and some strategies.

Apologies for the large sized files - they are original VCD quality. Patients is required as megaupload only allows max files of 250mb, so I had to split 1 disc into 3 parts. Please re-upload for the benefit of all.

In case Megaupload restricts your IP address

    Disc 1 Part a http://www.sendspace.com/file/sazqz8 (200mb)
    Disc 1 Part b http://www.sendspace.com/file/hncqmz (200mb)
    Disc 1 Part c http://www.sendspace.com/file/dnfsr1 (200mb)

    Disc 2 Part a http://www.sendspace.com/file/qvpes0 (185mb)
    Disc 2 Part b http://www.sendspace.com/file/v0tue1 (185mb)
    Disc 2 Part c http://www.sendspace.com/file/klwh9l (185mb)

Additionally, I would be much obliged if someone could tell me why tucking your shirt into your tracksuit makes you a better coach/player. Maybe it is related to profound effects of wind resistance…

    Good video :)

This video does cover some advanced skills, such as brush net kills on both forehand and backhand. The slow motion filming is very helpful for understanding these finesse strokes.

I think the highest level coaches also tuck their tracksuits into their socks ;)
