as mentioned in Philippine Daily Inquirer..can't wait for the inaugural

Any players from Europe participating in Philippine Open?

It's just too bad that most of the players who I, and I'm sure most Filipino badminton fans were hoping to see play are not joining the Philippine Open. They are LCW, Bao Chun Lai, Chen Hong, PG, KJ, etc., in other words those who we get to see on TV only.
I would say that the tourney turned out to be "medyo supot" meaning "falling short" (in Filipino) of my initial expectations. But then again, who knows, the matches might just turn out to be quite exciting.
