Hey the sl-70 form karakal is rite now the worlds lightest racquet, it's only 70 grams. It can handle 30 lbs string tension and is not easy to break.
How light is too light? I find that racquets under 90g are just too light for me. Smashes are not as hard and control shots at the net aren't too sharp.
no one payed me anything i just want people to know about this racquet thats all, why the hell would kelvin pay me for ??? if he payed me i would have given you info on how to get it wouldn't I?
can someone demo karakal racquets and give us their opinion? I remember shaun was to hook up some guy in toronto for some demo testing, what happen?
ya but kelvins not selling for the money but just to promote badminton, i'm not mad or anything just don't want anyone to get the wrong idea
yeah dude. don't take the people here too seriously all the time. we are usually just joking around while talking about our fav sport. and that Kelvin guy, don't trust him, he stinks of trouble.
Re: How light is too light? I AGREE WITH BAM BAM! all racquets under 90g are too light for me...i like heavier stuff....unless its a swing power, then thats acceptable
karakal....i was too busyy to hook up with that guy for now... i have exms and tons of isps to do-end of school year. but after this i'll test the karakals out for u guys
THIS IS FOR KELVIN the sl70 is very durable....he has one strung at a bit over 30lb with bg70-its his demo racquet....hes in japan letting some doods test them out, one guy smashed quite hard and lost his grip on the racquet! the racquet flew very fast to the wall and hit it hard....kelvin ran over there, closed his eyes and started feeling his way up the shaft for cracks-to his astonishment, there was none! strung at a bit over 30, thrown to the wall and is a demo racquet! NO PROBLEMS! ok so thats a durable racquet lol...as for play, no idea...but i'm thinking thats venturing into the "too light" area
Re: THIS IS FOR KELVIN Thanks Shaun, next time i'll careful and watch out for kelvin's wicked hands.
well, at first when kelvin told that was the lightest racquet in the world i thought i had to put alot of power to get a good smash, but i was wrong, how i don't know but there alot of power coming form this racquet.if you don't like too light theres always the sl-80 which is 80grams and the tti-720 which is 90 grams, but once you try this racquet it does feel like the average 90 grams racquet it feels really and tons of power.Fromwhat kelvin told me after taking a closer look at the tti-720,there titianium all over the head at not just two ti parts. I'm still don't know how they made a racquet so light which is able to handle 30lbs and yet very durable, but i'm sure someone will sooner or later.
