China have a very good development program and support system in place. The rest of the world needs to wake up. Ji Hyun has the same problem as LCW, gets very nervous during the critical period. If she can address this, then she can probably match any of the ladies at the top.

My thought after the 1st games was over. But she did well to win it by having less mistakes.

It sure feels freakin good to win this one with all the tough battles.

Saina Won The Third Title
Indian Badminton Player, Saina Nehwal achieved her third title in Djarum Indonesia Open by after winning the title in DIO Super Series Premier 2012. In final, Saina stunned China's Single, Li Xuerui in a dramatic three-game match.

Lost 13 - 21 in the first game, Saina once let Li win the match point when she was left 18 - 20. However, with her all abilities she was forced a rubber game and she finally won 22 - 20 in the second game. With the full supports from Istora's crowds, Saina made the stadium roar.
"I am thankful to the supporters who always support me until the end of the match. Istora (Sports Stadium) becomes one of my favorite places since I always get positive results here, and I am always sure I can fight and win here," Saina said after the match.
Saina herself records five times appearances in DIO and four out of five she succeeded in reaching final for four times with three titles which were in 2009, 2012 and this 2012 in DIO Series Premier.
Congratulation Saina!

Hey miksss, don't link the images to the original site! Copy and upload, otherwise it can take very, very long to load up on this page!
Sometimes Djarum website is very slow...

It would have been devastating if she lost after the epic QF.
Winning this PSS would really boost her confidence.
Having said that Saina needs to work harder and focus on variety, as the Chinese WS players would double their efforts to overcome this setback. Her game would certainly be scrutinised for weakness and patterns.

Yes. The problem now is 'how do you maintain this type of form'? or enhance on it?

Saina has also improved her stamina. After the titanic battle against Wang Shixian in the finals I was not expecting her to beat SJH, but she beat her and went on to beat Li Xuerui in three sets. Many of us were worried about her mental and physical fatigue but she played well and at the end Li Xuerui was the one who was looking a bit tired.

It certainly appeared so. When one is tired, at least from my experience, the first to go is your decision making and that is where all the errors come from. But then Li Xuerui is known for her 3 set battles, so it could be either tiredness or nerves. My bet is on nerves.
