yeah ive heard of thema and seen one. they look really good. you can buy them here in perth, australia at kingsway. they sell al kinds of ashaway rackets. but you should be able to get it in singapore, because my coach who gets all his sponsored stuff from ashaway in singapore
I have also been interested in this racket but I can't get any info from the net. Perhaps you may get in touch with Ashaway direct as they have a distributor in Singapore. Its.... Pacific Sports 7 Kaki Bukit Road 1 #04-15/16 Eunos Technolink Singapore 415937 Phone: (65) 67498444 Fax: (65) 67491444 Hope this helps.
yo... thnks alot.. yeah.. its a beauty... one of the points i like it... lol.. can u tell me of its playability and power?
hey.. thnks for everything.. bought the racket.. love it.. haha .. really powerful and accurate.. thought this two qualities didnt come together... but seriously.. exellent.. lolz.. strung with forten dura @ 25 lbs.. prob that helped with the control.. lol.. yeah.. still amazed at the cosmetics... WOW.. yonex nanospeed cozmetics arent as good.. haha.. yeah.. good racket for the price.. lolz.. paid singapore$120 for it.. bout.. $85US? yeah
My coach was given one by his club. Love the look and I'm thinking about getting one if it's good. Haven't tested it out yet though. Hey gabxzz, is 25 lbs good for slicing? And what of the overall performance?
LOL... i thought this thread was .. haha.. anyways.. yeah.. 25 is good for slicing.. good control.. but i had to let the string loosen up with a few strokes first.. hmm.. i thinks that is the same with all new rackets/stringing.. and as for the pics yeah.. sure.. wen i get my digicam back.. hahahaa.. looking for it now..
Just tested it out. Loved the control but I'm not really used to it's weight because I'm using a heavier 3U Carbonex 9 right now.
Hi... hmm.. the control is great.. but i think 25lbs is a little too tight.. would recommend 24 for more power... haha.. as for the weight... it is 88 grams unstung.. and 93 grams after stringing.. haha.. and i added an extra grip.. lol.. so its kinda heavy now.. yeah.. but.. i still love it.. had some clashes.. some bad from doubles.. but it is still holding great.. i think it will last.. yupp.. thats my observations for now.. hope u all enjoy it as much as i do.. haha..
hey viper.. here is the picture as requested, haha.. im sorry i took quite a long time and the pic quality is not that good.. my camera needs replacing.. lol..
Hey Gabxzz. Can you ask Pacific Sports if they have a website containing info on the latest ashaway badminton rackets? Thanks.
www.ashaway.co.uk has some details for ashaway rackets. Though, I don't think they have the full range.
Yesterday i saw Ashaway Nano9000, really beautiful, its head balance racket, really feels great holding it. The color and design is beautiful, i saw it in Pertama Kompleks KL.
i hit with ashaway nano force 9000 last week, very nice will be getting that for next season when they offially come into the country.
Sorry for bringing an old thread back from the dead but I wondered if anyone had any Ashaway Nano Kevlar rackets they wanted to sell like the one pictured above? I used to have one of these around 7 years ago and liked it a lot. I think it was only for the Asian market so might not have been sold in Europe. Here is a picture of the one I used to have.
I've seen it a few times but not something I normally do. I was just thinking of my favourite rackets and this one came to mind! Hopefully there will be some in good condition out there somewhere.
I'm going to bump this old thread again! If anyone has an Ashaway Nano Kevlar let me know because I used to have the racket and would like another if possible.
