Gees Andy u really dont blog much. But to answer your question i dont know havent got the wii badminton game yet .. but if you go to youtube and search for wii badminton you'll see alot of clips of people really going over the top playing it ..

Not really looking for more kason, I'm trying a few sotx racket ryu has to see which one I'll get ... kason has served me well for the last 2 years but its time to move on, to step up to D2 level

If this is comparable to the tennis in Wii Sport, that not bad.

If you're referring to the one sold as Sports Island here, I tried it, but it's not great. Controls are a bit iffy.

Takes a bit getting used to and there's still that "lag" in playing shots.

Overall, quite OK, but a bit disappointing.

Might see some of you on the JTULTRA/MUBC, if you're playing on Sundays (I'm playing C grade MD

I checked out the youtube video (thanks to Vien). It looked fun. The jump smash move should help me get one step closer to my dream.

But I also checked out games rating web sites. Their comments confirm yours. I might buy it if it gets really cheap.

Did some research and a weekend badminton in sydney will cost ...
$65 for flight on jetstar from avalon to sydney .. and another
$65 to fly back from sydney to avalon
$130 per night for twin share accommodation, maybe 3 nights so ($390 or $195 each if 2 people)
$60 per day spending money, and/or $500 per night if you're intending to visit sydneys famous red light district

plus tournament cost maybe $40

So roughty $505 each for a D grade trophy from UNSW .. I think its worth it

i am new in melbourne and staying in berwick actually. i think glen waverly is very close to where i am staying. can ii turn up tomorrow for badminton session. i have just migrated here and looking for some game time.

also can someone lend me a racquet as i did not bring mine when i moves...gave it to my dad actually.

Hi Mag,

I would not say Berwick is close to Gen Waverley but looking at other badminton clubs in Melbourne the location is one of the closer ones to you. If you can drive then it will not be a problem.

Just to let you know, Titans badminton club caters mainly for stronger players. As a guide, C grade is about the minimum standard required to play at Titans. If you meet this requirement then you are welcome to join us. I can lend you a racket.
