usually on weekends courts are fully booked whenever i try to call, and i have a bunch of friends whom always say "see first", when i ask them when they wan to play..

we usually decide on the day itself. most of the time to our dissapointment, no courts r avaliable. anywhere that has court on sundays (especially)?

better if in west area. dun mind travellin abit though.

    any CCs, clubs etc..?

Ditch those friends. To them, anything else is more important than playing badminton with you especially when they do not have to book a court.

Anyway, for the last-minute badminton groups, I would suggest those outdor courts usually sandwiched between two blocks of HDB flats. In Singapore, booking badminton courts is like an industry.

well. perhaps it need not be as serious as ditching your friends like eastdevil said. i mean, different people have different priority placed on leisure activities. let's just say your group of friends are not as passionate in badminton as you are or as i am.

so a simple solution for you is to join the groups in this forum. i mean, we are such a passionate bunch of people that we almost have a game daily, and at various locations even. for you at CCK, you can perhaps joing the groups that play every wednesday at CCK sports hall or every saturday at bukit gombak sports hall.

yeah, it is true booking badminton court is an industry in singapore, because it is really very tough to get the slot that you want at the location that you prefer. so your safest bet: join the regular groups in this forum. let them take care of the booking! ha ha ha.... :D

bro LevelZero, just come and join the group (remember to register your name otherwise they may not allow you to join -- this is to control number of people who play and number of court).

yeah ditch your friend coz they are not passionate about this game.
i organise game myself for my kakis, but i spell out to them my rules.
if i book the court ,and if you no show you pay also, no free lunch.
shap up or ship out. sometime you have to put your fist down then
things get going. as for now buddy you better find another group to
play you feel better, but find a group that suit your standard otherwise
you will feel out of place. enjoy your game.

    cheers

    Yo level Zero,

No worries. I can get courts easily for you at Bukit timah near to Ten Mile Junction. I play there on Wednesday 7-10pm. The operator is my buddy. You can come join me if you wish.

    Yo level zero,

Its inside Boys Town - English Assumption School. there are six courts there.
Sat and Sun normally quite empty.
Another plc you can try is CCK cc. i play there on Sun too. Pretty easy to book.
