Personally, I did not try it. However, from the pic, seems it's not wide enough, which means it might lose a bit more tension, especially when working with high tension. If true, it could be a problem for main.

Looks spiffy. :) Although, I'd be somewhat concerned about how well it retains tension since it's only got 1 spring. If it's not too expensive, perhaps you can get one, try it out and let us know?

The most popular flying clamp around here seems to be the HiQua one with the new model Yonex second.

    FWIW, HTH.

Tried it. Spring location is in the wrong place which is annoying when you are clamping and unclamping. Otherwise works ok. You need to use two clamps in a row for high tension - above say 25Lbs.

Were you referring to the big knobby screwhead? :) I thought it looks a little uncomfortable in one's hand.

That clamp design doesn't look very comfortable in terms of operation. I have tried Yonex/Gamma/HiQua clamps and I would say HiQua is the best in terms of holding power and ease of operation!:D If the Victor clamp cost $20, I would definately pick HiQua clamp.

    Thanks for your answers.
In my county victor clamp cost 15$, so it’s no expensive. In Europe it’s difficult to find gamma, hi qua or yonex clamps- I couldn’t find any. You can easily buy “strange” repair kit from yonex, but clamps...
Victor is concern from Germany. Their racquet isn’t the best, most popular, but they have badminton clamps

If I don’t find nothing better, I’ll buy victor clamp and write my opinion here.

    Best wishes,
    Michal

I bought that clamps. Flying clamps good hold strings, even on high tension, but should be more comfortable. The power of spring can be regular.

In my opinion it wasn't bad choice, but meanwhile I found something surely better.

Michal: Wow, that clamp looks pretty good. Michael can you get 4 of those clamps for me? I can PayPal you the funds or trade you for racket(s) and/or string. Please advise, thanks! :D

Hmm. It could be difficult. I'm from Poland but Pro's Pro Arfaian is from Austria- it would be double shipping cost for You. It should be possibility order and send to USA- you can ask them, on the page you have phone number and email

BTW.On page I see badminton fixing clamp and good looking stringing machine.

I forget to write that I use their badminton strings. Explosion 0.69 looks similarly like Yonex BG65. Tour 0.75 looks identically like Ashaway Rally 21. I'm not a good player so it difficult to say something more about that strings- except that durability isn't bad and strings lose tension (minus 2-3 LBS) after 4-5days.

Personally I tried both Yonex and Hi-Qua flying clamps.. and found that the Hi-Qua ones are much better than the Yonex one. They are wider, bigger, and easier to handle. Much cheaper than Yonex ones too.

From the picutre, the Victor looks very similar to the Yonex.

Yep, agree wholeheartedly. The Hi-Qua clamps are better IMHO. I sold all my Yonex clamps. :p

Overall performance, I agree HQ clamps are better. However, if your machine has large mounting pads, and you start cross in the middle, the larger/wider HQ clamps will be hard to use for the last cross (top).
