experiences from "other" places, back to back courts aren't really a good idea...if no complaints, how can the place get better....

The end to end courts (1 & 2) are designated for coaching only.

There is more than enough gap between the others (I think between 7 and 8 ft or more) so that is not an issue.

I think it is better just let the investors with the $$$$ do their thing. I am sure they have their own reasons of doing thing the way it is. As for ppl without the $$$$ to open the badminton gym, just keep the though to yourselves. Keep saving $$$, then open your own and do whatever you like. I am suuure you can run a better place.......

strings, that just isnt the case. this is badminton community and that is a badminton centre. its always great for places like these to have feedback from their customers that will make the facility even more attractive. suggestions are important, especially if the centre is brand new. complaints however are a letdown =P

We are actually quite blessed with the number of BC members in the Vancouver area who are able to offer constructive suggestions. Naturally, this is also a learning curve for us so we can be prone to the occasional lapse. That said, we have done a fair amount of research and what you see generally has a reason behind it.

A large LCD TV will do nicely too with sofas . . . just like home.

And why not ask KDM to coach? Extra income is always a welcome.

Will cakes and bubble milk tea be available? I love cheese cake and cream pie. Yummm

agree with this view. constructive suggestions are a good thing. a smart business should reach out and listen to what customer thinks about their business. ultimately, happy customer is the key to their eventual success.

of course, from the other point of view, customers should not expect businesses to implement all suggestions that are given, good or bad.

actually, surprisingly, seating is often the most appreciated "amenity" in badminton gyms. after a long grueling game i'd much prefer to sit down on a real chair than on the floor.

sofa on the other hand, maybe a bit overkill...

Sure, most suggestions should be looked at. In reality, even if it's a good one, it takes time to implement it. Imagine having to put to use several suggestions. In the end, the owners have their business model set out and if suggestions fall within it, they're generally receptive. Me personally, I love hearing all the feedback, just as long as people don't expect us to have Rexy here next month running a clinic (hmmm.... now, that's an idea )

Through Richard's connection in Malaysia, he may be able to get highly qualified coaches and players over to Richmond and set up badminton clinics.

If I massage like how I play badminton, you're all in trouble. Oh well, there goes our massage business plan
