The LTI Alfamar Beach and Sports resort - located between Albufeira and Vilamoura on the Algarve - claims to have an indoor badminton court. However, we stayed there at the end of May 2006 and there was no 'court'...or at least no court markings. There's just a net in a big room with dustsheets covering furniture and large remnants of a hall carpet spread randomly across the floor. The manager of the so-called Sports centre described their badminton facilities as 'very modest' but I think that a net AND line markings are necessary even for a 'very modest' facility!
