...and DinkALot wins!!! Actually, it's all my doubles partner's fault. If he didn't drop so tight and run me around like a monkey, none of this would have happened.
great casual shoes now, lots of natural ventilation... u can wear them without tying the laces and show them off to those punk kids, ur be the coolest kid on the block.
Wow, DinkAlot, you truly amaze me. Not only you break strings and rackets, now even your nice looking Yonex shoe.
Now that you've broken practically every form of badminton equipment, the only other thing left is: -ripped shirt (due to bulging arms from breaking all those rackets and strings) -tattered shorts (thinking of Incredible hulk due to bulging thighs) -socks.....maybe they needed more ventilation you just keep coming back with furthur surprises...it's becoming something that all of us BF/BC members expect from you. So I take it you are using the Hi-tec Switchbacks now? Let us know how they are holding up and i guess how long they will last.
I am looking forward for the day Sir DinksALot break the wire that holds up the net with his smash...
SirDink! You are the man! How can you do that? Oh man.. i think you should wear boots or something...
Just wondering is that a defect on the shoe or simply you have a foot work issue? I have seen similar damage to Yonex shoes on some of my friend's as well. I used Nikie shoe and I do not any problem with them for more than 5 years with 12 hours of intense badminton game per week. However, most of my friend's shoes don't hold up well regardless of Nikie or Yonex due to their foot work problem.
Darth: already ripped a few more snug fitting shirts. So now I only wear Under Armour Loose Fit-type shirts. Already ripped a pair of tighter fitting shorts too. I lunged and the shorts ripped at the thigh area. Now I go with bagger, looser fit shorts too. Socks, that's too easy. I have two more pairs of 99s and will continue to wear them. The SwitchBacks are good but definitely heavier...I prefer the 99s for comfort and mobility. In defense of the 99s, they lasted me a good year of wear on and off. That's pretty good to me.
Actually, I already did that. I hit a smash, it broke the net right below the top of the tape and went through. The opponents said it went through but I contended we won the point. I told them if I could punch through the net, I deserve the point. The opponents looked at each other, shrugged and gave me the point. Anyone who plays at SGVBC on center court can still see the "hole" on the left side of the net. I should take a picture...
The shuttle. The past 2-3 weeks, I've been hitting mostly drops, minimal smashes, expect that one match against Ba Su. That one I had to do a bunch of smashes.
