I'm sure Malaysian players can speak some English. It should be quite common to come across English in their daily lives. At the very least, they would know "Serve, 1-21, Love, Out, Over, Game, Match, etc...".

It's not that bad... Some Malaysians can speak english in sentence, it's just that they will add on some Malay, Cantonese, Chinese or some dialeks..

    That's Manglish

I met LCW and rest of the malaysia team when they were at kuching for the Thomas cup training. I spoke chinese with all the chinese players, but i didnt talk to Kuen Beng Hong. I do know that WCH speaks very fluent english, and was surprised when he spoke english to me.

Ahh.. I always wish I'd get to meet them. I'm always wondering how they're like off court, how they speak, what they do besides badminton...

And I SO wanna meet KBH.

Yeah, I remember what Choong Tan Fook had said during the interview... "Ya, thank you very much to my fans.. My fans (pointed up) up there!"
