The UW Badminton Club is proud to announce... In association with Pointfore Canada. The UWBC Pointfore Team Challenge! The CIF courts will explode with excitement, as teams of 3 battle for the ultimate title... Register online, before June 21, at http://www.badmintonclub.uwaterloo.ca (Free for UWBC members, $10 for non-members) Lunch will be provided... Players are ranked as follows: Beginner - (Men: 2pts, Women: 1pts) Novice - (Men: 3pts, Women: 2pts) Intermediate - (Men: 4pts, Women: 3pts) Advanced - (Men: 5pts, Women: 4pts) Competitive - (Men: 6pts, Women: 5pts) Teams are regulated as follows: Upper Draw - Maximum 15 points Lower Draw - Maximum 11 points NOTE: No Advanced or Competitive Players are allowed in the Lower Draw (except under special circumstances - to be reviewed by the tournament organizers). Draw format will be "World Cup" style group play with the Top 16 teams moving on to the single elimination playoffs. Coming soon, on June 24, 2006 (9:00am-5:30pm). Be ready for it.
