    After buying the multi-millions right to show World Cup matches, Astro is now running low in fund to buy copyrights to show Malaysian and Chinese Taipei Open.

    I don't think so. Why they dare to spend millions of dollars for live world cup broadcast?Because they know there are millions of people will watch this event-so it will make a very good profits. That is what isvesment is all about:p .

    Good news for astro subscriber - there will be live broadcast for badminton next month in astro Ch80;
    23/7/06 (Sunday) - Final - Macau Open 2006
    30/7/06 (Sunday) - Final - Thailand Open 2006

    And from what I see, astro will limits its live badminton broadcast for maximum only 2 tournaments per months. This month they already broadcasted Philipines & Singapore Open, So no room for MO & CTO. I guess...ha ha...:D
