Fu/Chai vs Wiratama/Njoto is a match to watch. I hope KKK/CCM will win.

The korean pair is tough, but should be no problem for Koo/Chan pair...

If everything's on track, we will see Koo/Chan once again facing Cai/Fu like in MO semifinal, and LCW facing LD as in MO final

Does that means LCW is now rank World No 1?

    My Predictions

    MENS'S SINGLES
Lin Dan vs Chen Jin -- same as last week, and probably Li Yongbo will ask Chen Jin to play like last week

Kendrick Lee Yen Hui vs Lee Chong Wei (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- what a marvellous achievement by Kendrick Lee, beating Chen Hong in 3 sets today. This is probably his best 5* tournament and I hope he improves! As for the match, LCW should win to set up yet another final encounter with Lin Dan...he's just so dominant today (although he did suffer from a lapse in concentration late in the first set)

    MEN'S DOUBLES
Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun vs Albertus Susanto Njoto/Yohan Wiratama Hadikusumo -- the Indonesian-born pair is tough to beat...and some young pairs such as Hendra/Joko, Yoga/Yonathan, and Gan/Abdul Latif have lost to this pair recently. On paper, Fu/Cai should win...but...I would like to see the Hong Kong pair score yet another surprise.

Jung Jae Sung/Lee Yong Dae vs Chan Chong Ming/Koo Kien Keat (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- a repeat of the Thomas Cup match. Then, the Korean pair won. CCM/KKK has been on a roll for the past 2 weeks and the fact that Lee Yong Dae is also going to play in XD will mean that the Malaysian pair has a slight edge. Expect a thriller....

    WOMEN'S SINGLES
Zhang Ning vs Wang Chen -- same old story

Xu Huaiwen vs Xie Xingfang (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- with Xie's continuous struggle under the new system, she could suffer yet another defeat tomorrow.

    WOMEN'S DOUBLES
Gao Ling/Huang Sui vs Saralee Thoungthongkam/Sathinee Jankrajangwong -- they met last week and Gao/Huang won. It should be the same result again.

Du Jing/Yu Yang vs Lee Kyung Won/Lee Hyo Jung (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- ditto...the Chinese pair to win.

    MIXED DOUBLES
Lee Yong Dae/Hwang Yu Mi vs Nova Widianto/Lilyana Natsir -- the Korean pair managed to beat Zhang/Gao in the QF...a minor upset...and Nova/Butet have to be very careful! A tricky test...but it should be an easier match compared to facing Zhang Jun/Gao Ling.

Sudket Prapakamol/Saralee Thoungthongkam vs Lee Jae Jin/Lee Hyo Jung (MATCH OF THE ROUND) -- another thrilling match in store...probably can go to 3 sets as well. Both pairs are evenly matched...and with Lee/Lee not in the best form, Sudket/Saralee can win and hopefully set up another final with Nova/Butet.

Haha, you're so right. I bet LYB has revenge in his sights and poor Chen Jin will "lose" to allow Lin Dan the opportunity to turn the table on LCW in the final (if LCW can beat Kendrick). IBF should do something about team orders; it's robbing the fans of a good match.

    My Predictions:

    Chen Jin vs Kenderick Lee
    Fu/Cai vs CCM/KKK
Wang Chen vs Xu Huai Wen
    Gao/Huang vs Lee/Won
    Lee/Hwang vs Lee/Lee

Takes a man of guts to predict a Chen Jin v Kendrick final. Ya, I know it would be a nice change of scenery to see these two but it ain't gonna happen. Why? LYB WON'T let it happen. Anyway, I think the majority of fans WANT to see the grudge match of LD v LCW. Let's see what happens.

If you want to use the conspiracy theory, there's nothing I can say. :D

But considering that Chen Jin needs some more ranking points to boost his WC2006 seedings, I think it is possible that he would "want" to go through. Lin Dan is already 3rd, so no harm to his seeding.

Considering that Kenderick is not very consistent, he might pull an upset. Most of the more "consistent" players tend to get swept aside by LCW these days. Who knows LCW has war plans for all his main opponents and realized that he never bother to make one for Kenderick? Afterall, videos of Kenderick are hard to find since he never get onto the TV telecast.

Anyway, LCW is on a roll right now, so beating would be difficult.

Conspiracy theory, haha:D . I think it is quite well known China has a heirachy when it comes to who wins and who doesn't. I hope Chen Jin can be a little more convincing in his defeat :p .

As for Kendrick, phew, he is in for a real tough encounter. While I think LCW will triumph, I hope Kendrick can give a good account of himself. Has he finally arrived?
