Default Need advice on where to relocate! Sunny seashore with badminton action! )

    Hey guys
I'm lookin to relocate to another country
like Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Philippines
i want to find a town on the seashore with nice beaches but also with some badminton action and places to play.
For now my first choices are
    Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia
    Kuatan, Malaysia
    Ambalangoda, Sri Lanka

any advice? it's quite difficult to search for badminton courts, google does display some, but i guess it must be far from the real picture

    appreciated.

I'm jealous. You don't seem to have to think about where the jobs are...

What about some seaside French towns?

Don't quite understand why you want to relocate to those places. Who would want to fly in and out from Malaysia unless you have to. Volcanoes eruptions are so frequent in Indonesia. Thailand is now under army rule. Sri Lanka just finished a civil war. Philippine is governed by an inept president. Go somewhere else.

Come to the sunny California, USA. We've beaches close by, next to Pacific Ocean. Tons of badminton actions here too. No civil war, no army rules, and you don't need to worry about flights.

Earthquakes are fine. After a while, you would get used to it.

Personally, can't compare as I live in SF South Bay. Only go to LA a few times for my kid's tournaments. Both locations have lots of players + dedicated gyms. Bay Area has 11 gyms today within 1 hour driving distance (when no traffic). Lots of ex-pros here coaching.

What kind of legal background, may I ask? Civil, criminal, estate, tax, family, patent...

Do you watch TV series like CSI, LAPD etc. I don't watch them, but I'm under the impression there're lots of crime in LA (as those stories all seem to happen in LA. ).

We've lots of high tech companies here, and often you hear they sue each other. So patent infringement (and protection) legal business may be good here. Divorce rate here seems high, so family law may be good.

    Honestly, I don't really know...

USA is the most litigious country in the world with a million lawyers in a population of roughly 300 million plus. You will make money no matter where you turn if you have legal background. Remember the lady who sued MacDonald and won over a hot coffee spilled on her lap while driving. Go to USA but not Napa and Ferguson at the moment.
