I've found one of the few stringers in the Philippes trained by Yonex-Sunrise, he is Ronald Lagasca from the StoreShop in Park Square 2 in Makati. I had my rackets stringed by him and we had the chance to talk and I found out that he was part of Yonex-Sunrise's group of stringers trained by the Yonex International Stringing Team here in the Philippines to service those who only want the best for their precious rackets. He uses an Eagnas machine(sorry, no ES5PRO)calibrated every week to ensure precise tensioning. Fast as he can be, it only takes 30 to 45 minutes to finish a racket. Anyone who happens to read this thread and is in the Philippines, visit this guy and have your rackets serviced by him, you wouldn't regret doing it. Just tell him you saw it here in the internet.

Does anyone have feedback on the stringers in the Yonex store in SM Megamall or the in the Yonex courts on Shaw Boulevard?

    Re: Yonex Stringers

I knew that those stringers from the Yonex Pro Shop in Megamall and in the YPBC are all certified Yonex stringers from Sunrise Co. They all had the same training from the Singaporean Stringing team. Where do you have your rackets stringed?

Does anyone know a place here in Manila where they string badminton rackets and don't practice preweaving?

Every single person who has strung my rackets for the past 20 years has done preweaving, or has woven the string first onto the frame before placing it to the machine that pulls the string. I've noticed on video tutorials and stringers of pro tournaments on Youtube never do this!

What is the negative effect of preweaving though?
