I'm not super experienced with stringing but that picture looks HORRIBLE. That gave me a good laugh. Get back to the store and get a refund. That's not the yonex recommended string pattern either.

Default My new ARMORTEC 900-T is STRUNG is horribly!!

    Hi Everyone,

I may be new to this stringing business, but I'm sure that if a line is missing, its a bad thing. I purchased this racket from badmintonshoponline.us just recently and asked them to string it @ 23 with nanogy95. However, I noticed that a line (horizontal) is missing near the bottom of the racket. Is this a new style I'm not aware of or did he royally messed up?

P.S: This is my first post! YAY

Can you post a picture or let us know how many cross? Where is the last string hole?

O god! I'm such a NEWB. I will find out how to ACTUALLY post pictures later but I hope these shall suffice in the meantime.

Cooler, the pictures from that link shows that he's missing the line on 5th grommet after those first two round grommets. (I'm sure you're probably laughing at my lack of correct terminology) Mine shows that its missing at the 6th grommet. Would that make a difference?

How does it play? This is an SE Asian string job. Since you bought it over internet and it is mist likly from SE Asia, Yonex USA will not honor the warrenty. Also, it will be hard to just patch that 1 string because you do not have enough tie up hole for AT900-t. If it plays fine, don't worry, it does not damamge the frame.
    Good luck.

u should get dinkalot to re-string ur next job. The racket look like spade.
if u hit the sweet spot everytime, the missing string don't mean much.

Haha. If I had enough money to spend on a personal jet, I would just throw this racket away and get a new one!

BTW, thanks guys! As long as its it plays as it should, I'm happy. ..... Um, it's still playable right? I mean, I highly doubt I'll ALWAYS hit the sweet spot, but it should be fine.....right?

P.S: I havent hit with the racket yet since I was worried about the stringing.

The racquet is fine, the sweet spot is smaller and shifted up a little. It was suppose to give you more power. I just don't like it.

Yes, I did notice that when I played today. Only when I hit it in a precise spot, usually higher that what I'm normally used to, I feel more power. Otherwise, I get powerless shots. Then again, this is a technique racket not the power one.

Even though I couldnt get all the power I wanted, the drops were amazing! I barely had to do any work at all. I LOVE this racket!
