hi everyone i was wondering if there are any berkeley badminton players who go to the badminton club at Berk. If someone can give me more information about this place, that would be greatly appreciated. hours.prices,etc thanks alot!
Hi, I'm member of the club at Berkeley. We are a very committed group who play 2-3 times a week. However, I would advise that unless you are affiliated with the UC somehow, joining the club is probably not worth it. This is because you must join the 'Cal Rec Club' in order to get into the facility in which we play badminton. While the fees are not excessive, they are comparable with regular gyms, such as 24-hour fitness or Nautilus. This equates to $400-500/year. If you are a student, however, entry is $10/semester, and thus very worth it.
