    whoops! forgot to mention: the entry deadline is Saturday, August 5th at 11:59pm. So that means there's just under 2 weeks left to enter.

    Whoops! Our website will be this weekend (Aug. 4-6). :( To allow people time to still sign up online, we are extending the entry deadline to Monday, August 7 at 11:59pm. You can still sign up in the meantime by e-mailing your entry to calbadminton@gmail.com.

    this is just a regular open. you don't need id or anything.. just need the cash. and they'll make you sign a waiver, i think. but that's all.. tell them your name and pay them. :D.

    all i do is weak jump drop drive :p instead of a real jump smash :)

    so how did everybody do?

    we did go today. but unfortunately, the gym was way too dim for any decent pictures. so we hung out a little bit and left. we came back for a little bit later on in the afternoon, tried a few more and left for home.

    Well, I did err horrible. Got into a fight with my dad the night before and couldn't make it to the tournament. And my parents wonder why I am so eager to run away. How about you smash?

    err well that was actually my first badminton tournament i ever been to, i lost the first round :mad: against college players. ehhe o well it was my fault that i only got 5 hours of sleep and i was so fatigue after like the first 5-10 minutes of the games i played. Lost Consolation lols... but i did better then the first game. Although we put our game into it, we still lost by 15-11 15-5 ;p


    Overall its a good experience for me and my MIXED partner since we are only high school players ;).
