Default does anyone carry rackets w/ cover in bag?

I hate to have racket cover in my bag cause there is not enough room (barely with 5 w/ cover in a 6-racket bag) but i hate even more is that my rackets hitting each other in bag when carrying w/o cover.

Wouldn't it be nice if yonex make a bag that has seperator for each racket built in. (even better, with heigh of each pouch a little bit different so the racket handles at different height)

I carry 6 racket of my own, sometimes with an additional 1 or 2 of other people's rackets needing restring. I use 3 x 3/4 length bags inside the main bag. 3 rackets go in the 3 bags. There are 4 'gaps' between and outside of these bag where I can keep 4 rackets. This means no racket comes in contact with another racket, except at the handle.

Nope, no need (for me) to use protective/cover bags. If you carry enough rackets, they will clank into each other.

I got myself a Nike tennis bag. I can fit as many as 8 rackets with cover plus my shoes, shuttles and etc. No worries at all.

I ahve a 2424-9 wiht one compartement dedacated to rackets. in a full-length cover you can fit 2 rackets. they're so close to each other there's no room to clank...record is 7 rackets in 4 bags. bag was a little tight though...

The bag I got with my APACS racquet is big enough that I can carry 6 racquets with the head of one racquet against the handle of the next and so on. The racquet grip can't damage the racquet head. Maybe you should just go for the biggest bag rather than the name brand ones as some of the little known bags are a bit bigger, just a thought!

i also use the Yonex 2424-9 and if i use all three comapartments i can quite easily fit 12 rackets each in there cases, i can also have two pairs of shoes, extra clothes and drinks. i never put my rackets in a bag without them being in their cases.

my 2424-9 from left to right.

-minor compartiments (two) full fo crap: grips, shampoo, hairgel, scissors
-left comparment: empty. filled with dirty laundry at the end
-middle: clothing, towel, lots of socks and boxers (forget them a lot, so stock it up)
    -shoe compartment
-rackets mostly one or two full-covers with max 4 rackets. never needed more than 4... but could easily fit 6...
-smallest compartment with wallet, and more crap (jumping rope, blowhorn for tournaments, dextro, the works)

never to trustfull to put my shoes in a comparment with my rackets, or other stuff...but the 2424-9 is quite enough for me...I can stuff it a lot better..but I need to be abel to carry it!

i have the same problem with my racquets hitting each other since i only carry three racquets in my bag. since it seems that you have a lot of racquet covers and 5 racquets to fit...why don't you just put 2 or 3 cases in your bag. you can then put half the racquets in the cases and sandwich the rest in between. that way...they're all protected and you have more room. otherwise...maybe try to find head-covers or just cut out pieces of cardboard to act as dividers.

I also normally carry 3 rackets in my bag only.....my bag is the 2420-6 model....comes with the in-built racket seperators (2 seperators), hence 3 rackets is just the optimal number...with 1 seperator between each racket to prevent any racket clanging inside the bag.

Here is a thread posted by bluejeff.... its says bag 403 (outside of japan is bag 2420) which also has racket seperators. http://www.badmintoncentral.com/foru...t=18068&page=2

I use SOTX SZ-N001, with wheels and a pulling rod. I usually take three rackets with covers with me during games. Nice fit for the three rackets with covers as it is important that the rackets will not be damaged.

Yup, people now are teasing me whether I am in the right sport. Bags with wheels usually are used by bowlers. Or flight stewardesses. hehe!
