i must admit, i watched part of the match, and Minh was on fire. he seemed to be doing everything right.

..i'm guessing your video conversion was @ 640X480 (HQ)?? If so, when we view them @ full screen, the quality will degrade. You may want to try & convert the files @ 1280x720(HD). That way, when one resizes to a larger version, the quality won't degrade as much (depends also if you were recording in HD)...Also, if possible, an AVI format is better to upload to youtube. Thanks anyway for the uploads.

well it's kinda sad to see it happen to a pro player like Nguyen T M .. but i believe the Viet Badminton Federation now migth pay extra attention... any how kudos to him... the best man won today (yesterday )

If it is of any consolation, it was reported in our Straits Times that NTM "is a regular visitor at the Singapore Sports School where he trains with the local shuttlers. (The SBA is now headquartered in SSC where our national players train.) His trips here are made possible by the close ties between the badminton associations of Vietnam and Singapore. It seems NTM trains here at least once a month, and counts Singapore men's coach Asep Suharno, Ronald Susilo's former coach, among his mentors."

You guys can’t imagine how much Vietnam sport pays for it in general and badminton in particular. Most players of Vietnam play sport because of their passion. They attend a lot of competition and get high results but the money that they give is nearly 10 percent compare to the total.

I think you know why but it’s the truth. Officials are rubbish. They get money from the sweats and tears of athletes. I have an easy example like this. For instance, you are a player and you join a province badminton competition and you get the first prize. Can you guess how much you earn. The answer is nearly 8$. The money can not afford me to buy a half of shirt. It does not mean Vietnam is a poor country. Vietnam is developing very strongly but corrupt officials work in every kind of government systems. So I hope you guys will encourage for Vietnam sport and Vietnam badminton.

agree with you,dongkhoi.
i am also a Tien MInh's fan. I used to follow up his match when i stay in HCMC.
It's a totally different image when Minh go abroad for int competition.
sometimes i feel poor for him when he always alone while most of other player has their own profession support team.
where's the sponsor's money gone? who will help him?

This is undoubtedly true.

But the positive side of this story-- the part that we all can learn from-- is that TMN has reached so high despite lacking the luxuries that Professionals find indispensable.
Try your hardest no matter what resources you have.

because of some problems inside Vietnamese badminton organization, he nearly want to quit badminton or move to other countries that he can get better conditions... he was very stress n tiresome, but luckily that he love badminton too much n because of national spirit... that cant make him give up... keep training hard n training hard... n now, it s amazing result for what he has tried hard to get it... bravo TM... i m pround of u...

..and could be a stepping stone for loftier future achievements. But people/fans/critics will now keep an eye on him to see what he will do next..Thus he has to stay consistent and improve even more in future tourneys..

Absolutely agreed. This got to be his sponsors' dream to see him do so well after signing with him. If he wins tournaments, that would be great of course. Even if he does not, fans keeping an eye on him would still be a winner for his sponsors. His value can only go up from here. So happy for NTM and sport.

Go to another country that would pay respect more on him,..till the vietnam badminton association begging him to come home n pay for what he's worth for.
