People know that because they found more SP racquets cracked, but much less CN racquets cracked. Of course, we cannot simply conclude base on this, it is just an experience sharing.

Pardon my ignorance but can someone enlighten me on what's SP and what's CN all about and what they stands for?

    Thanks!

    Can try the search function.

Kwun has got his hands on some. I am sure he'll post up reviews soon. :)

In brief, it's the code imprinted on the racquet cone. CN is said to be marked for China team use and the quality is said to be higher. No doubt other such quality racquets go to other Internationals.
F'instance, Paaske and Lungard use MP70 which is available in Japan (and not anywhere else) and Japanese racquets are said to have higher quality.

I know myself for a fact that the SP and CN stands for the country in which they were made or region in which the racket was made for.

But Kwun i think it was said that CN versions are more durable, also someone said that in HK i think it was that CN rackets cost more than SP rackets.

Yes, you are correct on both counts.

Chew Chun Eng broke his racquet a couple of times so not very good advertising for Gosen!!
