Hi Folks !!! Anybody heard of Nike Shuttle Court / Court Shuttle Shoes ? These Shoes are made in Indonesia and available in India ? If somebody uses these shoes can post a review of this Shoes, it would be nice, I plan to upgrade from my Yonex AR 88 This pair is one of the options available, I am told they are lighter than comparable Yonex Thanks
Yup, im also considering buying the nike court shuttle. I like the style and it seems pretty light. Im plannning on buying it this weekend. Anybody out there who have seen/used nikes for badminton? How was it?
I was planning to buy them on-line because I don't have any ideeas what store (no US) have them... I just love how they look and as you say they look pretty light! does anybody knows something about the price? a friend told me that they are up to 130 $ ....
$130!?!?! They only cost around $50 here in the Philippines! A friend of mine got a pair recently. She said that it is very light and flexible. Seems like it is really made for badminton. The best attribute of the shoes (according to her) is its ventilation. With the weather here in the Philippines, she claims that her feet doesn't feel like they are being baked while she is playing. She did mention that its cushioning isn't up to par with Mizuno's. Although she is quite heavier than your average Asian female. So she put in a set of insoles (forgot which brand though) which solved the problem.
The model is called 'Nike Court Shuttle'. Believe this model is specifically made for badminton by Nike, unless their other indoor shoes. I have seen it in Singapore (Queensway) and Malaysia (Pertama Complex). Cost ~S$80 (estimate). Color is black/white. Found it very light and soft but hesitated to buy it because of the cushioning.
I was supposed to buy the shoe over the weekend but when i tried the shoes, it feels a bit stiff so i ended up buying a yonex shoe instead. =)
OMG!!! 50$ -80$ ERm...now I really don't know what to say....:crying:sorry for not living in Philippines.... I will definitley NOT going to buy them! They are way to expensive here! I will try something else!
Hi Folks, I ended up buying these shoes, i bought the one in White & Blue, they cost about USD 50/- The best part about these shoes is its weight, they are very light The shoe looks to be built to last
"Still"? Didn't know it was recommended in the first place ?! These are cheap generic indoor shoes befitting of their price ... Can't hurt to try though at a low price.
I have used Nike Multicourt 10 for little more than 2 years and found them light as well as comfortable. Given the new technologies Yonex is upgrading its shoes with, I have just got a pair of Yonex 87R. In comparison to Yonex, I find Nike a bit outdated when it comes to badminton shoes.
Just got mine and used it once. Fit is a bit tight so I recommend size up by 0.5. Sole material is has good grip. The upper material quite hard/stiff and is not that comfortable. As mentioned above, there is little to no cushioning around the toe areas. This was the cheapest badminton shoe I could find at my sport store ($50 AUD) so I don't have any complaints. The one I purchased was the Nike Shuttle 5 White. EDIT: Just got water blisters on my little toe after about 2 hours of play due to the friction between the horrible rough material. I don't recommend these shoes at all
