i am currently searching for a racket. i've been asking everyone for suggestions, it seems lilke MP99 and AT700 are the only choices left, but i could only get one. i'm more of an offense player than defense, so which one should i get??

    thanx

MP99 or 100. AT700 has great control however, but does not have the power of the MP series.

    it really depends
as a owner of both, MP99 is all rounded
but AT700 packs with POWER and lots of POWER

    GET BOTH!!!! BOTH GREAT RACKET!!!!!
mp99 better feel during swing.... (negative side.. cracks too easily)
At700 gives u harder and more satisfying smash~~~~ (durable~~ nice color and nice coating that doesn't crack easily despite crashing extremely hard into walls and ceilling millions of times while practicing backhand at home!!)

instead of getting two different racket, i would either get 2 at700 or 2 mp99

MP99, easily the best overall racket, pro's use it in singles and in doubles so why can't you? The MP99 hasn't been around for ages for no reason, great racket! And affordable at only £80, on Direct E-Sports, you can get awesome free gifts including restringing and cash back!

You can't pack enough power with mp99. I'm also a smasher but the real power is not just there. I can't comment about at700 cause I don't own. Its on my consideration list. Have tried swinging at700 at the store but felt quite stiff. And don't find if head heavy as many has commented. My favourite racquet now is Ti10 2u. Want to try some other racquet. Maybe at700 or new ti10 which is rated head light on the shaft and no 2u.

follow your own experience, that's a whole lot better!
If you use a At700 with BG80 at 35 pounds, like Peter Gade, I don't think you'll benefit from that.

tried both (strung w/ bg85 at 25 lbs.)...stuck w/ at700. mp99 is an excellent racket but i prefer the feel of the armortec & it produces a lot more power. have been using at700 for almost 4 years now...having a hard time using other racket models coz im always looking for the "feel" of the at700. hope my input helps...

hope this helps...right now im using 2 mp99's and am thinking of switching to 2 at700's becasue it has more power and i feel more control. the mp99 is good but the at700 just seems like a better singles racquet as you have more power so your offence is better

well today was my second time using my new at500. Played for bout 2 hours. I have to say that i noticed a marked improvement today in my overall game as compared to the 1st time i used it (tension maybe a little lower, as a smash a lot). My smashes were WAY more powerful:eek: , and my net play was greatly improved. Drop shots were also a lot 'tighter'. Amound of mishits had decreased in frequency, but still trying to get used to the backhand with this racket, it seems to loft up too high and therefore reduce the power/distance of my backhand(giving opponent a perfect opportunity to smash:( ). I defo recommend this racket
