Hey guys, I'm in the market for a new racquet, and in canada at canadian tire, they have these two racquets apparently for 50 bucks each.

I don't think they had the airblade superlite before, are they supposed to be an upgraded version of the airblade lite? I was wondering because i'll be getting one tommorrow most likely, so i'd like any advice/information/opinion on which one to get and why. Thanks!

re you serious? because I checked on the Canadian Tire website and it didn't have anything on the Carlton Superlite. However, this is great news! The Superlite is an upgrade of the Lite. The Superlite I found has really great power and control but it may be fragile. I don't know yet. The Lite is heavier but the feel is not as good. I mean the Superlite retails and around $100 so there must be differences. It depends, if you like heavier rackets, basically it comes down to do you like 4U or 3U rackets.

Yikes! How did it break? ie Where on the racket and how?

I think the headlight rackets are in the Nanospeed range, but the durability of Yonex (Carbonex range aside) has been raised in many threads. Might want to do a quick search.

I bought my powerblade superlite like long, long time ago and i've had quite some experience with it. The racket in my opinion is really light and maneuverable. It has very good control for drop shots. If you are not the kind who likes to smash and is a defensive player, this racket may be one of the best rackets for you.
