    Just read a newspaper article today. It says Yip Pui Yin, Zhang Ning, Xie Xing Fang, Xu Huai Wen, Wang Chen will play.

    Lee Chong Wei, Lin Dan, Taufik will play.

    Jens and Martin, Koo KK/Chan CM, Fu Haifeng/Cai Yun are in.

    missed a bit from the article. It says total 267 entrants. All top ten women's singles have entered.

    Wow... thats nice to hear. I tot some of them going to Skip HK open.. this is going to be a hectic schedule for them.

    Wow...a battle between LCW and LD begin soon again...LCW...This is your turn to take revenge from LD...Taufik...This is your chance to take revenge from LD too..But this time, i hope to see Taufik and LCW in the final coz they seldom play together...

    LCW has not confirmed his entrance in the HK open :( ....but he will definitely be playing in the Korean Open :D .....i sincerely hope he doesnt play in the HK open coz he is still nursing some leg injury :( ....i hope BAM does the right thing and not sent him coz of sponsor's pressure :mad: .......

    i hope it will be like last year ( taufik won singapore open 2005 before Wc 2005)

    Last year, l go to see for 4 whole days, but just take a few photo with the professional players....
    However, l will take as much as photo l can this time, and upload it to my webpage and let all badminton lover to see ^_^:p

    i think many big guns will skip HK open since it is too close to the WC.

    The Malaysians are likely to skip the Hong Kong Open on Aug 30-Sept 3 as it will be too close to the World Championships and also disrupt final preparations.
