I was browsing through mybadmintonstore.com and saw that they carried Tactic Nami Blade racquets. I haven't heard much about this brand and I've never seen anyone with a racquet from them. Does anyone own a Tactic racquet? If so, I wanna know about the quality and performance of their products. Is it as good as Yonex?

I have lots of Tactic rackets, very nicely made, just as good as yonex, half the price. The namiBlade 8000 is a clone of the nanospeed 8000, but more durable and won't break as easily.

For more Tactic rackets and info, check out www.e-badmintonusa.com or search in EBay.

Thanks for the reply viper. Ive been looking for an alternative to Yonex for awhile, I've tried Hi-qua but they aren't nearly as good as Yonex. Have you ever used the Nami Blade Nb12i? Its supposed to be a Nano as well although its features are completely different from that of Yonex Nanos. It has different colors and designs. Doensn't seem to be a clone.

Agree. Tactic is an OEM. Tactic has a wide line of products and excellent prices. I'm looking into some of their heavier rackets right now.

Yep, E-Badminton has good service. :)

Thanks DinkAlot. I wasn't very sure about Tactic cause BC doesnt have any reviews on them.

Actually, I do have a NamiBlade 12i in my bag. It's still new, I just never got around to using it. It feels and looks similiar to the Yonex AT700, a bit lighter because of the smaller grip size. I agree the color and design is definitely much better.

Tactics was at one stage the prefered brand for a lot of the top players in my club, until the supply ran out. They told me those rackets were as good as Yonex equivalents. If I were a Yonex AT800 fan, I'd go for the Tactics ArmorTic 800. But nothing seemed able to tempt me away from my Ti-10's.

The NamiBlade 8000 is 5mm longer than NS8k. From what I could see, it also has more power too.

    SUPPLY RAN OUT???:crying:

Tactic must of been really popular in your club.

Ti-10 is a favorite racket for many players. Good choice.
I don't think Tactic has a racket similiar to Ti-10.

Wow that must be alot of racquets. Maybe Tactic didnt have the ability to mass produce quite as much as Yonex does. Now that Yonex is the big boy on the block, Tactic racquets are more available than before. Thanks for all your responds. I currently use a Yonex AT 500, and i'm actually looking for a racquet thats similar to the NS 9000S...just not with the ridiculous price tag. The NS 9000S seemed to be very head light and stiff, good for defense. I used it briefly and liked it alot. Any suggestions on similar racquets?

Hey Viper, whenever you start using the Nb12i, let me know how it is. I'm thinking about getting one really soon since I need a backup racquet. Thanks!

Only the NamiBlade 7000 & 8000 is like the nanospeed. the other namiblade models (12i) are like the ATs.

the NB12i is a very nice racket, I used it in a double game. Very solid feel and control.
