    Badminton Stroke Practicing Machine:

This simple machine is made mainly for Badminton players. Generally, people find it difficult to pick up the shuttle in badminton game. They become exasperated when the shuttle falls, again and again. Looking forward to this, the prototype was made by which children can play badminton without failing to pick up the shuttle. This helps them to be predetermined to get the shuttle and it saves a lot of time. It is required to mention that this practice hardly requires any opponent and it makes the game more interesting as well.

The innovation is a long stand mounted on an iron frame about 6 ft in height. Above the iron frame two iron rods with grooves in between through which a belt is passed. The two rods and the belt are so arranged that they form a triangle. A motor of 0.5 hp is fixed on the frame, which is attached to the belt with the help of two pulleys. The motor slides the belt along the two rods thereby moving the shuttlecocks with it. The triangle is so arranged that the two rods appear to be almost at right angle with each other and one end of one of the rods is attached to the motor. The belt seems to be forming the base of the triangle and is positioned towards the side where the person practicing badminton stroke will stand. Small pockets are attached to the belt, which holds the shuttlecock and drops the same one by one when it reaches the end of the second rod while moving upwards while the player practices his/her stroke.

Opinion of players about the machine: -
-Concept of shuttle throwing machine is excellent and appreciable
-Can be used for isolated stroke practice
-In present form it is good for beginners
-Since the game is all about movement all around the court so 2-3 machines can be used simultaneously with time difference in dropping the shuttle.
-2-3 machines if used simultaneously will serve the purpose to maintain good footwork, improved consistency, and more accurate shot placements.
-If modifications are done in it then coaching will become much more effective.

There isnít any such machine available in the world so if modifications can be done in it then it will serve the purpose and will be helpful in practice.

All the players and coaches told that there isnít any such machine in the world, and it is the first time that this kind of machine has been attempted. In lieu of this innovator should be appreciated and should be motivated so that he can come up with a machine, which would excel in all parameters of the requirement.
