Hi. I heard from some old veteran players that there was a rule on the clothing you are allow to wear in any major tournament. They told me that only white T- shirt and white shorts are allowed. Now players are allow to wear colour shirt and short designed by the sponsors. Is it true? Thanks.
True Sad but true. You even had to tuck in your shirt so that the service judge could see if ur serve was a fault.
That is true they did use to do that and wear only whites in tournaments. Some clubs still follow that rule about white clothing only though but dont make you tuck in your shirt thats optional lol.
lol that would be pretty messed if they tired to regulate the color of their underwear too. Shirt, shorts, and socks i can see but underwear...well a colored pair wuld stand out when the player dove and you were behind them...
my regional school tourneys aka LOSSA (lake ontario seondary school athletics) say your shirts gotta be 90% white or school uniform some of my friends were trying to be funny, tucking their shirts all the way in like Urkel and pulling their shorts and socks all the way up, i think they left the underwear alone though
