well, the serial number on the 9000S that is peeking out from the corner looks okay. from the logos, grip, wrapping, colors, it looks okay as well... but photos can be deceiving. the mp100, while not presenting any problematic signs, it isn't showing much signs at all, with only those two pictures. and its a racquet produced for the chinese market, with the CH tag, so its not a surprise to not see the PBSI logo, which is certification for indonesia's badminton association.. care to reveal the entire ebay link?
Interesting. If this is a fake, it will be the first example of the fake yonex ovalhologram sticker posted in BC i believe. Sunrise sticks a second hologram sticker with a 'code number' on Sunrise distributed racquets as well... but since CH is not under sunrise no surprise that it's not there. I assume the NS9000 hologram is gold in colour like the MP100, but the camera flash distorted the colour. Otherwise doesn't seem to be anything wrong with the photograph. Of course, as the ebay thread has shown, there are some sellers who steal pictures of 'real racquets' from other sellers and reuse as their own.
Shouldn't there be a CH word on the shaft? This is my AT700 from bbeshop... just wondering it appears odd that theres no CH like mine...
MP100 is a countefeit - Instant give away in the picture. The 9K, I don't quite trust that one because the color looks faded.
we can't totally trust photo's with colors due to everyone's differences.. the room, lighting conditions, camera, the individual who took the photo, are huge variables. then to make matters worse, everyone's hardware, their monitor, is calibrated differently and will not display the same colors as they were meant to be displayed. plus whoever took the pictures oversaturated it with heavy flash usage...
Both are countefeits, I took at the pictures more carefully to verify. The picture does speak for itself why.
how do you judge whether its fake or not? please state reasons thanks! the only thing appear odd to me is mp100, the word Yonex.. the O is slightly dodgy..
Well for the MP100 and NS9K, yes the O is incorrect. The logos are as well. Notice the NS9K has a blue hole in the grip, that would also be some kind of things which I call instant give away besides the O's.
Ok. I agree that the 'Yonex' logo on the MP100's cone does look kind of weird. It is most likely a fake. Not sure about the NS9k though because my NS8k has the same sort of hole on the grip. I'm pretty sure that my NS8k is no fake.
I do have a 9K JP and it does not have a hole like that on the grip. Also the color is too faded and dull. Just incase no had noticed yet, look at the O's on the hologram sticker as well. Also looking on Ebay you will see countefeit NS9K with the same identical color, and it also includes other supporing pictures which gives it away (not shown in this thread)

Ns9000 and AT700 above are real not fake. Ns 9000 CH edition has no CH brand after 2006 Apr, that is common. Like ns 8000 which produced after 2006 Jan. also has no CH brand on its shaft. But I am not sure MP100, from the pic, it seems like a fake one, but just my feeling........
