I would like to know why this happnes do i need to train my body to avoid these shievering in future pls advise? Thanks, Satheesh
Lactic Acid build up is why your muscles are having spasms. You need to train your legs more, squats, running, leg presses would all help. Also try eating more oranges that helps with lactic acid as well.
I think this is right diagnosis lactic acid buildup, but i do have strong legs compare to other fellow players in my group.
maybe you move more than them? or get to the shuttle faster / earlier so it takes more effort for you. Also it could be something you ate that day. Some foods add to lactic acid.
It might also be bad arch and heel support in your shoes. The shock from your leg impacting with the floor over and over could of added to the fatigue.
I had the same problem, 2 seesions in a row, 4 weeks ago. I never had this problem in winter time. My sessions are btwn 8am-12pm with 2-3 breaks. By, 10 am, my legs would shiver during game. Then after 1-2 games, it goes away. In winter, funny thing is, it's warmer than summer time cos of the air-conditioning. So last 2 weeks, I decided to do 2 things - during break, i keep myself warm, and eat a power bar with lotsa liquid. So past 2 weeks, I didnt have this problem anymore. And also, I play more during those past 2 weeks actually, 8am-12:30pm but with 1 less break. Dont know if it'll help you. Just thought I'd share my experience as well. bchaiyow
