Clubs in Bakersfield,CA.
Hi all,
A friend of mine from US came over to visit me in UK and I introduced him to Badminton. He enjoyed it so much that he wants to carry it on.
He will be going back home in a place called Bakersfield this week and I was wondering if any of you lovely people could help and let me know if there are any local clubs or somewhere near this area ?
Many thanks
Robbie

Good luck.

Hi Robbie,
I know Bakersfield Highschool man's gym use to have the badminton lines painted when I was there. He can also call and ask if Stockdale High's gym has the lines painted. I know several people in Bakersfield would like to play if there is a place set up. If he start one, I will call around to get more peple to join.
Tell him good luck

Wanted to know whether CSUB allows anyone who is not affiliated with the University to play there. I am really interested in knowing where and when is badminton played anywhere in Bakersfield.

Its a good distance but go to CSU Fresno, South Gym. Schedule is Wen/Fri/Sun at 8/6/4 pm. There are some pretty good player and at times a large amount of crowd. Check in with a gentleman name Jim he is the organizer.
They also have a face book called Fresno Badminton.
