I'm a beginner in badminton (in english too...)
I found that some places on the "string net" (wtever its called...) on my racquet is not even,
so i was wondering if it matter if the netting of strings on the racquet is even or not?

Can you straight it out with your fingers? If not, can you show us a picture?

String shifting is normal, especially for newly strung ones, or the slippery string with lower tension.

sometimes u get crappy stringers who did a very rough and lousy job..
just straighten it out yourself.. it shouldn't affect anything...:)

I agree that the stringer's should straighten the string during and after his/her job. However, it does NOT prevent a newly strung racket to have strings moving during play. This is especially true, if using slippery string (i.e. Ti) with low tension. No one can prevent it, but can just fix it back after rallies.

my rackets are usually strung at 30-32lbs, when it starts to shift, time to cut and re-string.....:D

You haven't answered me about your main & cross string tension combo yet :p. Is it 30 lbs main X 32 lbs cross?

Our stringing master, taneepak, will accuse you of not adding an extra pound :p to make it 30 lbs X 33 lbs. You just broke his rule :p :D :D :D.

I'm sure 30-33lb is good for the standard string pattern, but since I use my own unique string pattern, 30-32lbs is optimal/peak performance tension.
