I would just like to know, i believe that thinner strings are better. But what are the advantages of using thinner strings like the BG-66 or the BG-85 etc? I am currently using the Forten Titanium 65 on my Slim-10 and BG-65 Ti on almost all of my other rackets thanx
thinner strings gives better sound and holds higer tension that thicker strings strung at the same tension...but they are less durable
for example: bg65 strung at 27lb will feel the same as bg85 strung at 25lb. this is because thin strings feel tighter than thicker ones... the sound is also higher pitched on thin strings......they usually go "ting" and the fat strings go "boop" lol.
Thiner strings like Bg 66 is especially for touch play. But somehow i think thinner is better for playing but not for durability.
