I have ProAce too: ProAce Sweetspot 2000 - a pretty decent racket, slight head-heavy but still good for quick movement for double-play.

You can visit 10&10 at the ground floor of Bras Basah Complex - I think they probably have the most comprehensive range of ProAce and APAC rackets in Singapore. But whether they sell the cheapest, I'm not sure. Just like most of the Queesway shops, they do expect you to bargain, which I don't like personally.

Alternatively, I was told by fellow BC members who visited JB often, then they found cheaper ProAce rakets across the causeway. But I've never been there myself.

    Hi,

ur ProAce Sweetspot 2000, is the frame isometric like (frame has flat top) or isit the round type?

Act i got my racket becos its cheap, has round type and wide body face and most importantly, it is self claim hi tension frame... dunno if it is true...

i heard of the shop u mention and i will pop by one of these days... but i was just wondering if anyone else sells cheaper than 60 (i bargained from 88)... hehe...

    Thanx for the info!:)

Hi, SG2303, Yes, it is a Iso frame.

Hi, Samtruong200, I got it from 10&10 in 2005 when I was back in SIN on a business meeting. It was sold to me at around SGD118 (if I still remembered correctly). I cannot compare it with Sweetspot 900 and 1000 because I have not seen these 2 models before. But the colour scheme for Sweetspot 2000 is mainly dark blue.

never try be4, but many ppl said that Thunderbolt II and PowerABS 1000 are very good one.
price wise, more than SGD 100, but less than SGD 140.

I was at 10&10 earlier and they tried to sell me a ProAce Evolution 900 for $140!!!

    Am I being ripped off?

I tried to bargain but they refused to budge. I felt $140 was way to expensive to pay.

Both brand from same company but target different market segment, proace price higher. Comment from players proace is better.

With globalisation, you can easily register a company anywhere in the world for a few bucks. U really think Proace has it's 'origin' from the UK?
