    Im thinking of buying this racket from someone, his tells me that the info. of the racket is

    The serial of the racquet is: 5977059 / 040363JP

    Can someone confirm for authenticity.

    The serial number indicates it is a FAKE...

    fake. it says it was made in 04. there were no NS9000 in 04.

    Where did you get the 04 from ????
    It is 2006 according to the date code...

    I read the article on how to check for authenticity. but from 040363JP how do you assume its fake? cause this means 04/03/2006 Japan, so I would assume its authentic.

    Nope, not if the serial number does not correspond to the date code. Have a look in the serial thread, you will find out the answer soon enough.

    yes, the fake makers got the date code figured out for the past 6-8 months now, not a useful guide anymore.

    I didn't know about part. The serial numbers are still fake anwyays(this one for example) and have not seen legit serial numbers which are really counterfeit. There is still few characteristics which we know which will give them away.

    of course, fake CP and JP bring in more money than fake SP;)
