Hi. I'm a 30 year old Malaysian male moving into Hong Kong soon to work. Looking for a place/club to play competitively. I will be based in HK Central/Wanchai area. Please let me know. Thanks.
I'm a 34yr old Singaporean. Used to play badminton competitively. I can only play in HK central, so if that suits, let me know when you get to HK. thanks
: ] THERE are countless places to play in Hong Kong. If you want to play in WanChai, Harbour Road Sports Centre would be an exceedingly good choice. You can book yourself courts there, and events are ocassionally held in Harbour Road Sports Center as well. Often in public Sports Centres, you can find batminton courts. And of course, private Club Houses and Sport Centres usually provide you with Batminton Courts. BUT, bear in mind that the courts can sometimes be rather hard to book. So make sure, you book in advance.
I am interested in playing on the HK side as well. Seems like most clubs play on the Kowloon side. I too would like Central / Wanchai. Another alternative is to book courts at the Hong Kong University (Flora Ho Centre) on Pokfulam Rd. Please let me know if anyone is interested. I used to play competitively in high school but have not played for > 15 yrs but would like to pick it up again.
i live in westpoint and also been looking for club to play near these area please let me know if you want to play together what time and day you guys usually free? i will try to book the court and hold games together
I am free most days and prefer games for an hour or so after 630pm on weekdays or any 1-2 hour slots on weekends. Let me know by private msg and we can exchange personal details off the forum. thanks
Could you use a 4th for doubles? Hi All, I just moved to HK (near Central) from Canada. Used to play in high school but I am a bit rusty now. Could you guys use a 4th player for doubles? If so, please send me a reply. Thx... su_joe
