What does over grip and... r. grip stands for? My Yonex's G5 grip is way small and it alway feels like it is gonna slip off my hands if I swing it too fast.. Did a search for overgrip (over grip) but well, grip's a common word
i thought your first racquet is a 3UG4 AT700? http://www.badmintoncentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=35110 If G4 grip suits you, why did you suddenly change racquets to a G5 grip? As a beginner myself, just to let you know that i started out with too large a grip (G4+overgrip) before switching to G5+overgrip. Too large a grip may affect your ability to hold the racquet in the proper grip. Consult a coach or experienced players otherwise you may start learning badminton using the wrong grip due to overly large grip size.
an overgrip is a second layer over the first grip which is usually the factory grip. Replacement grip is a grip that replaces the factory one. I hope i got that right. If u plan to use an overgrip, choose the racket grip size with an overgrip in mind, not what it feels right at the store.
Maybe you can replace the original Yonex grip with Prince DuraTac replacement grip which will upsize it to G4. Works for me.
I think I must be mistaken. 3U is I think, always paired with G5, My friend who's also using this account has a 4UG4. Hm, yes, my G5 feels small for my palms. By the way, the fella has already tore off the original Yonex grip, and replaced it with a thin Yonex grip. So, wouldn't I have to put 2 layers of.. say, if I use the Wilson Xtra tack>
