    MS - QF

    HASHIM, M.roslin vs CHEN, Yu
i think roslin's run ends here, good effort though ...

SHON, Seung Mo vs PONSANA, Boonsak
SSM must be brimming with confidence after thrashing KJ, Boonsak will have a rough time especially with the home crowd against him ...

JANG, Young Soo vs BAO, Chunlai
BCL is cruising, should not be a problem ...

LEE, Hyun Il vs AYOB, Sairul Amar
LHI may be a bit tired from his match, but Sairul does not have enough quality to match him ...

    Predicted winners to the left

    MS
Chen Yu v Roslin - but I will not underestimate the old dog
Boonsak v Shon SM (match of the day) - I still think Boonsak will prevail
    Bao CL v Jang YS
    Lee HI v Sairul

    WS
Xu HW v Soratja - the Thai did well but Xu is a step too far for now
Lu Lan v Hwang HY - but Korean seems fired up at home
Zhu Lin v Eriko (match of the day)
Wong MC v Kanako - their previous matches were usually close
Quite uncertain with the last 3 matches; could go either way

    MD
    (R16 not completed yet)

    WD
    Yang/Zhang v Chin/Wong
Nurlita/Poluakan v Emms/Kellogg (match of the day) - predicting an upset
    Chien/Cheng v Novita/Polii
    Lee/Lee v Saralee/Sathinee

    XD
    Widianto/Natsir v Sudket/Saralee (match of the day)
    Lee YD/Hwang YM v Laybourn/Juhl
    Eriksen/Schjoldager v Clark/Kellogg
    Lee/Lee v Blair/Munt

I dunno, my instinct told me that Roslin might have a chance and Sairul Amar isn't a no one without quality, Lee Hyun Il might be unexpected to lose

    MD QF

HE / SHEN vs LINDLEY / LANGRIDGE
tough one, both relatively unknown, but i'm with the chinese here.

YOO / JEON vs LEE / HWANG
another tough one, i give the edge to yoo / jeon.

KIDO / SETIAWAN vs JUNG / LEE
doesn't get easier, does it? jung / lee to benefit from home support, though kido / setiawan have done very well to beat the danes.

GUNAWAN / WIJAYA vs KOO / CHAN
match of the round by far. i'm going with koo / chan based on their annihilation of sigit and flandy.

Maybe she has the chance to have Zhou Mi as sparring partner too. I think Malaysia really improve a lot in WS. With WMC, Julia Wong or maybe Lydia Cheah and hopefully Zhou Mi if possible in WS, plus WPT/CYH in WD. Maybe Malaysia could get a medal in Women teams events in Doha Asian Games.:D Even though Malaysia is unlikely to beat China and S. Korea in Doha Asian Games but who knows they may surprise Hong Kong, Japan or Chinese Taipei.
