    Hey guys,

I recently broke my string on my racket so I was looking for some new strings, but the sportshop only had Babolat Hyperbraid strings. So I bought that string for €15,-. My question is if the string is durable because I dont have the money to buy new strings every week. How is this string compared to the BG-65?

    thanks

I thought there are three versions of the babolat hyperbraid:

    Hyperbraid Hi-Life 0,72mm
    Hyperbraid 0,70mm
    Hyperbraid Micro 0,67mm

the micro version sounds interesting! However it's very expensive, €140 for a 200m reel, versus €92 for a reel of Ashaway Microlegend and €90 for a reel of Yonex BG-80.

I've got the Hyperbraid which is indeed 0.70mm thick. Anyway, it snapped during the first training session:crying:, but that was due to a mishit....I suck. So I fixed the string and put an extra cross string on the top so mishits are more forgiving. Today I've played with it on my Carlton Airblade Tour. It feels great and has lots of power but I'm not sure if the string will last long.

The package of the string said it had a special coating for long life so I supposed it was a durable string. Do you guys think I should play with the BG-65 instead?

ps: I love the smell of the string, so that's a plus =)
