doesn't a gold ring on the fourth finger of your left hand normally indicate that you're married?

    what does that mean?
    a) you're marreid but don't wear a ring, or
    b) you wear a ring but are not married?

hehe, red's giving some funny answer here;)

    A bit off topic..

I don't know if this is true or not, but from what i've heard from people:
In Eastern culture, esp. Asian, a ring on the left hand(4th finger) usually means the person is engaged. Only when it is transferred to the right hand(4th finger), will it mean the person is married.
Vice versa, in Western culture, esp. in U.S., a ring on the right hand(4th finger) usually means the person is engaged. Only when it is transferred to the left hand(4th finger), will it mean the person is married.
    Who knows..?!?!..  :p
