Thanks for the pics Loh! I am now back in HKG. I think the pictures are really good and I suppose ppl will now recognize some of the juniors from Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand and Indonesia.

The Malaysian pairs Khoo Chung Kiat/Mohd Razif Abdul Latif and Arif Latif/Vountus Indra Mawan will blossom into top pairs in the near future!

Hahaha.. So sad that u're now back in Hong Kong. Looking forward for u to be back in Singapore and meeting u again!! Even though u did nothing but teased me and did not support Wei Feng in the quarter final Remember, Wei Feng is not losing but he's catching up!

Hi badMania, good to note that you're home safely.

Yes, my main intention was to take as many pics of the upcoming talents so that more of us would recognize them. Unfortunately, I could not take all of them as I was late during some sessions and the pics did not turn out as well as hoped. But under the circumstances, at least I've managed to do my part.

Its going to be another week of competition here as the Cheers Age Group (Doubles) Championships are now in progress, ending on 9th September.

    Hope to see you soon!

Default Darien Liew versus Chong Wei Feng

The following pics recorded the mini titantic battle between Darien Liew and teammate, Chong Wei Feng, during the quarter final, which Darien prevailed 13-21, 21-17, 21-13 in 50 min.

They are reproduced here for their ardent fans, Yannie and Magical Phoenix.

Hi young lady, I noticed you've changed your BC name now. Hope you like 'our' pic Serla sent you.

And thanks to you, I got a chance to know Song better. I've seen him play previously and was impressed even then. It is good that he played against such an experienced player as Jeffer Rosobin, aged 27. Song can only get better (provided he continues to train deligently).

I must also thank Serla for introducing me to Chong, who played very well during the tournament. I'm sure we look forward to seeing more of Chong and Song in Singapore.

And thanks to YOU that I could actually talk to Weifeng (hahaha, how come u keep calling him chong.. sounds so funny ) U called him right before his match.. Maybe that's why he won then? Hahaha. This Singapore Satellite seems to have left such a deep impression on u, me and Georgina
