No way! We want the best players at the WC. Though Taufik is not at his best currently, he's still one of the best and when he's at his best, no one can touch him. Unfortunately for us, Taufik is rarely at his best.

He might walk out again to prove the point ! So if he does not play, it would not go amissed with me.

Yes, we definitely want Taufik to play. No way we let him off the hook after all his posturing over the last 6 months and recent hijinx. He said the WC was his target so he he'll have no excuses if he performs poorly. Then we'll see who the real Taufik really is.

hmm, do you really believe he'll take that seriously??..or after all that's happened, you still believe he'll deliver thru, esp. it's less than 1 month away??..we'll see..

    Default Potential upsets

I can see two potentially big ones:
    Chen Jin to beat LCW
    Jiang to beat ZN

Anyone else care to predict upsets?

Well, basically, he's painted himself into a corner, and this corner is called the WC. No more hiding, no more excuses. He claimed this was the tournament for him and his preparations have been geared towards this.

I suppose if he performed well, we'd hail him as "the amazing Taufik" and I can live with that. But if he bombs, I don't want to hear any more lame excuses from his blind, fanatical lemmings.

If LCW played his normal fast and speedy game, beating CJ should not be a problem for him. All the best to him!

Errr... and if we all start praising TH, you will volunteer to 'balance' things by criticising him? Get a grip, man, we all know what a hard-core supporter you are, you don't 'balance' things, you are just defending TH no matter what.
