with the last GP event before the World Championships about to conclude, we have a good idea what the forms of each player are. let's see what everybody think will win the 2006 WC Women's double title....

3 choices only??? This must be a very boring event?

Some Malaysian and Thai pairs pls.

Li Yujia and partner playing? How about the Japanese pairs?

Another highly predictable result, its gonna be a pair from CHN for sure, no need to vote.

I am a bit out of dated for WC. So, I guess Zhang Dan / Zhang Yawen is no longer participated in this one? Oh, heard the pair being splited something... Wonder why, as they were doing pretty good before then.

I go for YW/ZJ since they are clearly a better pair than any other (eve GL/HS) and I beleive they will come good when it matters again.

At least the new scoing give slightly more chance for an upset, hoping for some othe countries pairs to get to semi final.

No offense on other pairs, but I would rather bet on injuries than the scoring system to do the magic for one of the greatest upset.

can't see both chinese pairs being injured at the same time though ... and considering how often both of them reach the finals, it looks like a another default chinese gold medal ...

it's possible, but with the seedings, it's likely that to win the title, they have to beat both the top chinese pairs. beating 1 pair will be hard, beating both will be .... ummmm .... harder? :p
don't wanna say impossible and they end up doing it and making me look like a fool ....

Gao Ling/ Haung Sui is my vote. I think Gao Ling is very hardworking and clever on his play. If she could only have the energy in this Women's Doubles since she would also be playing for the Mixed Doubles, then i guess she has good chance of getting 3 Women's Double Championship.

the final MUST between Gao/Huang and Yang/Zhang....it`s unquestionable..juz see which pair will win only...for the others semifinalist pair....i choose Wong/Chin and Lee/Lee...mayb Lee/Lee can win over Yang/Zhang in a very very tough match ..i dont want to see China absolute monopoly this event again...

Based on the draw, our WD of CEH and WPT has a great chance of reaching the semis at least.
