On the advent of so many plp asking me abt Racket prices I Thought of posting today's market rates.I was not able to obtain the best price for all models as i just called up a couple of stores.

These rates are just abt the going rate. IF u go to the shop u can obatin them for a few dollors cheaper.

    Carbonex 8 15.00
    Carbonex 3 38.00
    Carbonex 7 35.00
    Cab 9 tour 38.00
    Cab 10 37.00
    Cab 15 Titanium 51.00

    Ti 8 78.00
    Ti 10 78.00
    MP 77 & 100 105.00

The prices of Mp will go down ina month or two to ti 10 rates when plp start buying Mp series of rackets.

All the above mentioned models come in 2U version only.

    Carlton:

    Aerogear 700 40.00

yogesh, those prices u quoted are pretty low as compare to canada where i live.
Which city did u got the quotes from. I guess yonex do lower their prices a bit to sell into lower per capita countries.

1 USD to string? wow! Do they use a machine to string the racket?

The Stringer is a friend of mine and he uses a Yonex machine i think. I am not very sure of the name of the machine but it is a machine. He is a state player and he does this for pocket change.

    I live in Madras,India.

    It is also Called Chennai.

I have no clue as to how I'll go abt buying and sending the rackets to u guys.

I am buying a AS1 today for myself for 36USD.Special offer.

I dont have an hassel abt buying and sending things. But how do we work out payment and shipping charges and stuff like that.

I dont have money with me to Buy and send.I dont think many Plp would be forthcoming to send me money througha wire transfer and the expect goods to be delivered.

I think it is abt trust and I dont know how many of us have it here.

If u guys can work out a plan then pls do let me know.

    I hope i make sense!

Actually, Yogesh is Yogi on this new forum!! But he's not on too much any more. You could possibly give him a PM. There also seems to be several other BFers from India as well.
